Giltech manufactures and processes its own soluble glasses and has additional capacity to prepare trial materials for large scale applications. Our manufacturing processes are subject to regular audit to fulfil the most stringent quality and assurance guidelines. The Company has achieved BS EN ISO 13485:2003 registration.

By keeping the manufacturing of its CorGlaes® products in-house, Giltech retains the knowledge and know-how around the methods of manufacture enabling us to offer a flexible supply of materials to meet our customers schedules.

In addition to in-house product and process development, laboratory, computing and analytical facilities the company operates a precision engineering workshop, a clean room validated to BS EN ISO 14644-1:1999 Class 7 and an aerosol laboratory for the assembly of prototype devices and clinical/field trial numbers of development product.

Plant and machinery for both production and development work is designed, modified and maintained in-house by the engineering team which is an integral part of any scale-up planning and implementation.

Giltech has established strong relationships with expert university and hospital departments for additional pre-clinical safety and efficacy evaluations if required. The company also has strong relationships with a number of specialist industrial manufacturing companies whose expertise with other materials complements the core technologies and their applications.
