Application: Professional woundcare - protection against Healthcare Acquired Infections and common pathogens such as MRSA, Ecoli and VRE.
The problem: The incidences of wound infection increased with the emergence of superbugs. Innovative wound dressings were developed to treat/prevent infection at wound sites.

Client Solution: Giltech successfully designed the first silver-releasing range of woundcare dressings incorporating its CorGlaes®Ag technology. The Arglaes range creates an enhanced wound healing environment with effective and prolonged infection control properties (up to five days for the topical powder and seven days for the film dressing) without removal/reapplication.
Product success: Arglaes® pioneered the use of sustained release antimicrobial silver ions in woundcare and is now a proven and established staple in hospitals and operating theatres around the world.
