Our soluble glass technology - Corglaes® - biodegrades into its constituent parts of sodium, calcium and phosphates. These are all naturally occurring elements, which renders its impact on any environment benign and its use preferable to synthesised organic molecules. On dissolution, it leaves no solid residue and is completely safe for use as an implantable material in the human body.

CorGelTM - our gel-based delivery system is based on starch and gelatine combined with hydrocolloids. These biodegrade on contact with water or other aqueous solutions, CorGel components are all environmentally friendly and harmless to humans and animals.

Our carbohydrate matrix technology - CorLifeTM - provides a tailor-made, environmentally friendly controlled release system ideal for delivering ‘unstable' actives during the consumption of bottled water and other beverages. Totally biodegradable, CorLife offers a simple, versatile and environmentally friendly alternative to tablets, capsules and powders, particularly when the required active needs to be stored separately from the liquid carrier.

AlgiSanTM is our Alginate technology based on derivatives of seaweed and is heavily used in surgical dressings or soluble gels in the woundcare market. The active ingredient is calcium alginate which is fully biodegradable and harmless to the environment.
