Corglaes® Ag fibres

These Corglaes® Ag fibres have filament diameters of around 20 microns.  The main bundle contains 2 thousand fibres.  Small zones of inhibition for each organism are visible.  To the left of the picture, there are a couple of fibres which have strayed off to the side. The size of the zone of inhibition from 1 or 2 fibres is the similar to that from the bundle of fibres. This shows us that the threshold level of silver ion release is achieved from every fibre.
